WELCOME
TC Mediation was established to assist individuals, families, businesses, and churches who find themselves faced with conflicts and wish to resolve these issues outside of the court system. The mediation process fosters confidentiality by keeping private problems from public disclosure.
Mediation is a voluntary process that facilitates negotiations which assist the parties in reaching a resolution to their dispute that both sides can accept. This allows and encourages the parties, rather than lawyers and judges, to control what happens in their lives, families, and their businesses.
While your mediator facilitates the process, the final decisions belong to the parties. This "team work" approach is the beginning of helping people gain skills in joint problem solving for future conflict.
Disclaimer: Mediation is NOT a substitute for legal advice. Attorneys can help their clients become educated about the laws of their state. Attorneys may be included in pieces of the mediation process i.e. review of the Summary of Mediation and reduce it to legal language.
